A Library Shouldn’t Run on Registers.
Four things that quietly cost a library its time, its stock and its members.
Missing Books
Nobody knows what is on the shelf, what is issued and what quietly disappeared two years ago.
Overdues
Due dates are chased from memory, so books stay out and the same members are never followed up.
Manual Registers
Every issue and return is written by hand, and a single wrong entry is never traced back.
No Reports
Usage, popular titles and member activity have to be compiled by hand whenever management asks.
Everything a Library Runs On.
Eight modules that cover the full life of a book – and the full day of a librarian.
Book Management
Track every title from acquisition and accession to weeding and withdrawal, with copy-level history.
Catalogue Management
Organise the catalogue by author, subject, classification and shelf, and find any title in seconds.
Circulation
Issue, return and renew at the desk with automatic due dates, fines and overdue reminders.
Member Management
Patron accounts, borrowing history, membership categories and notifications for students and staff.
Mobile Access
Apps for librarians and readers – search the catalogue, check due dates and reserve a title from a phone.
Inventory Control
Real-time stock position, stock verification and shelf audits without shutting the library for a week.
Digital Resources
E-books, audiobooks and digital assets managed in the same catalogue as physical holdings.
Security & Audits
Role-based access, activity logs and periodic vulnerability assessments to protect member data.
One Catalogue for Print and Digital.
Most libraries now hold both – shelves of print and a growing set of e-books, audiobooks and subscription material. FlyLib keeps them in the same catalogue rather than in two systems that never agree, so a reader searching for a title sees whether it is on the shelf, out on loan, or available to read straight away.
Librarians manage lending rules, access and reporting for both formats from one place, and mobile access means students can search and reserve without walking to the desk.

Libraries That Outgrew the Register.
Public libraries
City and taluk libraries handling large memberships and daily circulation across many categories.
School libraries
Class-wise issue rules, student memberships and end-of-year stock verification without the chaos.
Colleges & universities
Department-wise holdings, reference sections, research collections and multi-campus access.
Private & community collections
Trusts, clubs and personal collections that need proper cataloguing and lending records.
Special & research libraries
Institutional, legal and medical collections where classification and retrieval accuracy matter most.
Multi-branch networks
Library systems running several branches who want one consolidated view of stock and members.
Registers vs Generic Software vs FlyLib.
| What you need | Registers & spreadsheets | Generic software | FlyLib |
|---|---|---|---|
| Issue & return | Written by hand, errors go unnoticed | Generic entry forms, heavy to use | Purpose-built desk workflow, seconds per transaction |
| Stock position | Known only after a manual count | Partial, needs manual reconciliation | Live, always current |
| Overdues & renewals | Chased from memory | Basic reminders, if any | Automatic alerts and follow-up lists |
| Digital resources | Tracked separately, if at all | Rarely supported | E-books and audiobooks in the same catalogue |
| Mobile access | None | Rarely included | Apps for librarians and readers |
| Reports for management | Compiled by hand each time | Exports you still have to work on | Ready dashboards and reports |
| Setup & training | Not applicable | Left to the buyer | Installation, catalogue import and staff training included |
| Local support | None | Ticket queue, no one on the ground | Product team plus affiliate partner support |

Library Software Questions, Answered.
What is FlyLib?
FlyLib is library management software covering cataloguing, circulation, member management, inventory and digital resources. It is a product of Avarthan Innovations LLP, Mangaluru, and is marketed as FlyLib Studio at flylibstudio.com.
Who is it built for?
Public libraries, school and college libraries, universities, special and research libraries, and private or community collections – single site or multi-branch. Raymond Cardoza Enterprises is an affiliate partner and can supply, install and support it.
Can our existing catalogue be imported?
Yes. Existing records in Excel, CSV or an older library system can be imported during setup so you start with your real catalogue and member list rather than an empty database.
Does it handle e-books and audiobooks?
Yes. Digital resources sit in the same catalogue as physical holdings, so readers search once and see whether a title is on the shelf, on loan, or available digitally.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. FlyLib Studio apps are published on Google Play, the Apple App Store and Huawei AppGallery, giving librarians and readers access from their phones.
Does it work without internet?
The core desktop application runs on your own machine and keeps working during an internet outage. Mobile access and online features resume once the connection is back.
How is it priced?
Three plans: Basic for a single user and one branch, Professional for up to five users with advanced reporting and mobile access, and Enterprise for unlimited users with priority support and custom licensing. Pricing is shared on the demo call against your branch and user count.
What support do we get after installation?
Installation and staff training are part of the rollout. After go-live you have support from the product team at Avarthan Innovations, and – when you buy through Raymond Cardoza Enterprises – a local point of contact as well.
Why Buy FlyLib from Raymond Cardoza Enterprises.
You get the product from the company that builds it, and a partner on the ground who makes sure it actually gets used.
Installation & setup
We install, configure branches and users, and import your existing catalogue and member list – you are not left with a licence key and a manual.
Dual support
Support from Raymond Cardoza Enterprises and from the product team at Avarthan Innovations LLP. Two doors, not one queue.
Ongoing updates
Product improvements reach you as they ship, with help applying them so an update never disrupts a working day.
